A major highlight of the evening was the official launch of Central Fife ClubSport, marking a new chapter for the organisation after 20 years as Kirkcaldy & Central Fife Sports Council. The rebrand reflects both the growth of the organisation and its continued commitment to supporting clubs, athletes and communities across Central Fife.

The event was further enhanced by contributions from distinguished guest speakers, including former Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Gordon Brown and Provost of Fife Jim Leishman MBE, both of whom spoke passionately about the role of sport in building stronger communities. Jim Metcalfe, Principal of Fife College, also addressed the audience, highlighting the College’s valued partnership with Central Fife ClubSport and its ongoing support for local sport.

At the heart of the evening were the awards themselves, recognising a magnificent group of athletes, coaches and volunteers whose dedication and achievements continue to drive sport forward across the area.

A particularly special moment came with the presentation of long service awards to Ken White, Jennifer Noble and George Macdonald, each recognised for an incredible 20 years of commitment to the organisation. Their contribution embodies the passion and volunteer spirit that underpins sport in Central Fife.

From start to finish, the evening was a fitting celebration of achievement, dedication and a bold new future for Central Fife ClubSport.
